USAGE
- Hydroxylamine hydrochloride is the salt of hydrochloric acid hydroxylamine. Hydroxylamine is a biological intermediate in the nitrification (biological oxidation of ammonia with oxygen into nitrite) and anammox (biological oxidation of nitrite and ammonium to dinitrogen), which play an important role in the nitrogen cycle in soil and in wastewater treatment plants for wastewater treatment;
- In the method using acetylbromide to extract lignin from lignocellulose biomass, hydroxylamine hydrochloride can be used to remove bromine and polybromide from the solution;
- In surface treatment, hydroxylamine hydrochloride is used to: create agents used to apply a protective layer; manufacture corrosion inhibitors; cleaning additives. It is also the starting material for pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. In the production of rubber and plastics, it is used as an antioxidant, a vulcanization accelerator, and as an acceptor of radicals;
- In the textile industry, hydroxylamine hydrochloride is used as a binder for textile dyes, as an auxiliary substance in some dyeing processes;
- It is also used as an antioxidant in fatty acids and Soaps. As a color stabilizer and emulsion additive in the production of color films;
- It is used for titrimetric determination of formaldehyde, furfural, glucose.
