Isostatic graphite
The material is obtained by the so-called isostatic pressing in a liquid medium. The pressure is carried out in the capsule simultaneously on all sides, ensuring the uniformity of the graphite structure.
Usage
The unique qualities determined the demand for isostatic graphite in many areas of modern production. Here are just some of them:
- Metallurgy-molds for the manufacture of critical parts, roller rolls.
- Mechanical engineering-friction rings, end and piston guides, blades for pumps.
- Electronic industry – the substrate cassette, the platform for sealing.
- Production of electrodes for electro-erosion machines.
- Creation of crucibles for growing diamonds and silicon crystals of high purity indispensable for creating solar cells.
- Production of a substrate for a light-absorbing film.
